closely with global suppliers, technology providers, and clients to build sustainable value chains in the
renewable energy sector.
To support our expansion and strengthen our strategic sourcing and technology partnerships, we are
looking for a Mandarin-speaking Business Development Executive to manage and grow our
relationships with Chinese markets and technology providers.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will play a key role in sourcing biofuel feedstocks, raw materials,
and technology solutions from China, while establishing strong relationships with suppliers and
technology partners. The candidate must be fluent in both English and Mandarin and possess excellent
communication and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Sourcing:
- Identify and develop new supplier relationships in China for biofuels (e.g., UCO,
biodiesel), agricultural residues, and waste-based raw materials. - Research and assess technology providers in China for rendering plants, UCO collection
systems, and biofuel production equipment. - Stay up-to-date on market trends, regulations, and innovations within the Chinese renewable
energy and technology sectors.
Partnership Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact for Chinese technology providers and suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers, R&D centers, and trading
companies. - Facilitate negotiations, contracts, and pricing discussions with support from the procurement
and legal teams.
Communication & Coordination:
- Translate and communicate key information between Chinese and international teams.
- Assist in onboarding Chinese suppliers and partners, ensuring smooth coordination on technical,
commercial, and logistics aspects. - Support international teams with accurate and timely reporting on supplier performance and
project timelines.
Business Development & Strategy:
- Support the international expansion strategy by identifying high-potential partners and joint
venture opportunities in China. - Collaborate with marketing and trade teams on import-export documentation and compliance
matters relevant to cross-border operations. - Represent the company in virtual meetings, expos, or trade delegations related to China-based
suppliers and innovations.
